  • Expiry Date: This indicates the date until when your domain is registered.
  • Contact Details: Upon registering a domain, your contact details should be listed under Registrant, Administrative, Technical and Billing contacts. The Registrant contact is the owner of the domain.

  • Click the link in the email sent to the Admin Contact listed in the domain Whois.
    • Perform a Whois here to confirm that your email address is listed as Admin.

We also send email notices to the Registrant Contact as per the below schedule:

Renewal Reminders Emails sent before Expiry

1. 60 days prior to expiry
2. 30 days prior to expiry
3. 7 days prior to expiry

Renewal Reminders Emails sent after Expiry

1. 5 days after expiry
2. 10 days after expiry
3. 15 days after expiry

A domain can be registered for a maximum period of 10 years. After this period elapses, the domain registration is said to have expired. Upon expiry your domain stops working and starts displaying a message requesting you to promptly renew the domain. If you do not renew your domain, your domain may be deleted. You will receive an email that your domain has been deleted.

You have 20 days after your domain expires to renew it. After this period, your domain may be backordered or deleted.

  • .COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .INFO, .PRO, .MOBI, ,ME, .US domains:
    • If you do not renew, your domain will be available for restoration for 15 days. The fee for redeeming your deleted domain varies, owing to the complexity of this process.
    • After this period ends, your domain may get backordered and you will not be able to get it back.
  • Other domains:
    • If you do not renew, your domain will be available for restoration for 30 days (if the Domain Registry supports it).
    • The fee for redeeming your deleted domain varies, owing to the complexity of this process.

As per an ICANN policy, when you Register, Transfer, or change your Registrant/Customer information we need to verify the matching Registrant information for all gTLD domains using them. Until the Registrant/Customer information has been verified, you can not again modify your Registrant/Customer Contact details. A verification email is sent to the Registrant email address to confirm the details.

If the details are not confirmed, an email will be sent daily to the Registrant email address until 15 days. After 15 days from this date, if the details have still not been verified, any gTLD domains associated with these details will be suspended until the details are verified. When you browse your website you will be displayed a page, explaining why this page is being displayed and how you may resend the verification email to the Registrant. If the email address mentioned therein is incorrect, you may follow the FAX instructions to have this resolved at the earliest.

Follow the instructions sent by email by GlobalSign to the Approver Email address submitted while ordering the certificate, to get the certificate issued.

Intermediate certificates sit between an end entity certificate and a root certificate. They help complete a “Chain of Trust” from your certificate back to GlobalSign’s root certificate.

Customers installing a GlobalSign SSL certificate must install the appropriate intermediate root CA onto their web servers or hosting account. This installation is only necessary once. After installation, all browsers, applications, and mobiles that recognize GlobalSign will trust GlobalSign SSL certificates. If customers do not install the appropriate intermediate root CA certificate then browsers, applications, and mobiles will not be able to recognize GlobalSign SSL certificates as being trusted. The intermediate root CA certificates do not need to be installed by visitors to your web site.

GlobalSign has always adopted a high security model when issuing digital certificates. GlobalSign uses a trust chain that ensures that the primary GlobalSign root CA (i.e., the certificate that is pre-installed with all browsers, applications, and mobiles) is “offline” and kept in a highly secure environment with stringently limited access. This means the root CA is not used to directly sign end entity SSL certificates. As such, GlobalSign employs a best practices approach for its public key Infrastructure by protecting against the major effects of a “key compromise”. A key compromise of the root CA would render the root and all certificates issued by the root untrustworthy. By keeping our root offline the key is significantly less likely to become compromised.

Depending upon the type of GlobalSign certificate that you have purchased from Dream Effects Multimedia, download your appropriate Intermediate Root Certificate from one of the following links.
